Tijdens mijn vakantie fotografeer ik altijd vogels, deze keer laat ik de Grote bonte specht zien.
Deze soort is echt heel erg schuw, ik heb daarom ook wat foto's opgespaard van verschillende vakanties, ook de foto's van de laatste vakantie zitten erbij.
Het is wel altijd genieten als de specht zich laat zien, de laatste vakantie was echt heel leuk, toen zaten er vier spechten tegelijk bij de voertafel, de laatste foto's vind je onderaan.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenWonderful photos of the beautiful woodpecker. I see these beautiful birds in my forest, and even if I can't see them, I can hear them. It's hard to take a photo with a phone, though, because they're living creatures.
It's supposed to be +8°C (46°F) here starting tomorrow, but today it's raining and +5°C (41°F), so spring is slowly returning.

Dear Irma, I love great spotted woodpeckers. There are quite a few in our area. I haven't managed to get photos as close as yours yet, as I usually hear and see them while out Nordic walking, but I do occasionally manage to get a picture. The most wonderful experience was when I saw woodpecker parents feeding their almost fledged young. (Unfortunately, the tree with the woodpecker hole has since been cut down... 😢😕 But they've probably found new nesting cavities...)

BeantwoordenVerwijderenWat een prachtige serie foto's van de specht. Vooral de 3e, 4e 11e en 13e foto vind ik super mooi. Ik vind het prachtige vogels om te zien en te fotograferen. Het is nog een hele sport om ze mooi te kunnen fotograferen, bij het minste geringste geluid of een kleine beweging gaan ze er alweer vandoor.
